Pill and medication reminders that repeat until you tap Done
Kettle is a reminder app for taking pills on time. Add the name and the time, repeat it every day, and it keeps reminding until you tap Done. It shows the last 14 days and can send the week to family. Kettle is a reminder app, not a medical device: it gives no medical advice and does not check doses.
Set up a daily reminder
- Tap Add (the + button) and type a name, like “Take pills”. Add a note if you like, such as “With food”.
- Pick the time and choose Daily under How often. For pills twice a day, add one reminder for each time.
- Under How it reminds, choose Keeps reminding, or Alarm if it must ring on Silent.
- Tap Add.
When it whistles
Done marks it done, and the next day is lined up. Later brings it back in 10 minutes. Not today skips today’s one, and the reminder carries on tomorrow.

14 days of history, and the week for family
Every repeating reminder keeps its last 14 days: done, skipped or missed. Open the reminder to see them. Tap Share the week to send one line through your own messages, like “Pills: done 6 of 7 days”. Nothing is stored on a server.
- Send a reminder to someone: they tap the link to add their own copy, and can tell you when it is done
- Kettle can say the name when it rings, or play your own voice: “Time for your pills.”
- Done is on the Lock Screen, on a widget and on Apple Watch
- Everything stays on your phone: no account, no ads, no tracking
Kettle is a reminder app, not a medical device. It gives no medical advice. Follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions for your medicine.
